“Thank you so much for your presentations at Fort Moultrie, The Charles Pickney Plantation and the Fort Sumter Visitor Education Center.  Your program Freedom Quilts and the Underground Railroad enlightened our visitors and staff on a little known, yet important subject of our heritage.  You presented the information in an interesting and personal way.  Making that connection with the visitor only enhances their visit to the sight”

Education specialist Michael Allen spoke highly about the connections you made with the children at the Pickney Elementary School.  I know the children will remember the event.

Trish Chambers' "1940's: A Doorway to the Future" lecture.
“As many of our residents were high school aged in the 1940s, this is a time they remember well. The lecture gave them the opportunity to revisit this time period through Trish's historic telling of events. They loved that Trish really dresses the part! As they left the lecture, many of our residents remarked at how much they loved hearing about the 1940s and beyond. We have lots of entertainment at our facility, but this was something different that gave the residents a unique opportunity to engage and reminisce. I will definitely book Trish again! "
